In Your Own Words

A heritage enthusiast, local historian with a day job, or community member who's passionate about educating about heritage and history in your community: If any of these descriptions sound like you, then you may be a perfect candidate to participate in ARCH's "Citizen Historians" project.

Where?

Answer: Anywhere in the world; at ARCH, we hope to help citizen historians from many different backgrounds and geographical locations to spread the word about their work and interests, have the opportunity to connect with other citizen historians, and learn from each other.

How?

  1. Read about the citizen historians already featured on the project’s page
  2. Take some time to decide if you would like to participate in Citizen Historians
  3. If you decide that you would like to be involved, great! You can email us or message us on Facebook, and we will be in touch to send you all the information about the next steps in the project
